I did not specify male or female, but the latest basketball athlete to be offered by a Pac-10 school reguardless of sex would be a Male athlete.HelenaCat wrote:Can't remember her name, but the last one was the Billings west girl who was offered at ASU, but then left and went to the dark side in Missoula (Morales or Conway).
Who was the last male player from MT to be offered a Pac 10 schollie?

Good lord, with all the McGillis threads here we all knew that. Maybe it was just me but I kind of assumed this was born of his scholly and was an implied before McGillis.mslacat wrote:Montana Gym Rat On the griz board won!!
ANSWER:
Jack McGillis was offered by Washington State a full scholarship in Basketball earlier this week. Stay tuned Oregon State is sending someone out to talk with McGillis

Okay, so obviously I skipped the rest of msla's message after I saw he said McGillis. I'm with El_Gato here, I thought he already signed with UW???El_Gato wrote:Wait a sec, I thought somebody on here (who was obviously in love with McG) said that Romar had signed him at UW?

McGillis was recruited by Romar to walk-on with Washington, with the chance of earning a Scholarship next year. The knock from the Montana folks is that he really is not Pac-10 material and to some D-1 material. He has since recieved offers from Idaho, Washington State, and Eastern Kentucky, with Oregon State now knocking on the door.kmax wrote:Okay, so obviously I skipped the rest of msla's message after I saw he said McGillis.
