Is Northern any good?

I saw that they beat Dickenson State last week. Dickenson is historically pretty decent. Could someone please give me a run down on Northern's program. I know they struggled early on after the re-introduction of football. I haven't followed them in the last couple of years. Are they ready to compete with Rocky, Tech, or Carroll?

Their head coach is Mark Samson, former coach of Helena Captial. He has both of his son's playing for him and a bunch of Captial High grads. He also has a couple of MSU tranfers: Mason Ophus and a RB from Bozeman (Wermer I think). He brought in some JC transfers to better his depth, but I don't think they'll compete with Carrol or Tech this year. Rocky, yes and maybe Western. They are a team on the rise I think. They'll be fun to watch on how they do the next couple of years. Mark is a good coach and should get them to where they need to be.
