NCAA OT vs. NFL OT
Does anyone else agree with me that the NFL should follow the ways of the NCAA and do their overtimes college style. I hate watching an NFL game when they play not to tie. It's basically decided by a coin flip when it goes to overtime. College football overtime is actually fair and both team are garuanteed the ball. It's more exciting and more competitive in my opinion.

College overtime is really a great thing because it leads to a conclusive victory for one of the teams. I think it was originally called "Montana overtime" because Montana high schools were one of the first to use it and the Big Sky was one of the first college conferences to use it. The CFL uses a college-like OT, which was shown in the Grey Cup final. I don't see the NFL changing their OT to college rules. I think that they'll change it so that both teams get the ball.
GO CATS!

Yeah I think you are right about that "Montana Overtime" thing. I remember our coaches talking about that in Jr.High football. What a great thing.bozbobcat wrote:College overtime is really a great thing because it leads to a conclusive victory for one of the teams.
