This from a poster on the egriz site that I saw this morning:

I know there are a lot of Van Diest and Carroll supporters on this site so please keep the Van Diests in your prayers. Coaches father, Augie passed away early this morning.

Augie was an honest hard working man from East Helena who couldn't be more proud of his son. He will be missed

I don't know Coach Van Diest personally. But, my prayers to you and your family coach.
