Chambers is a griz, it's all over now

Hey, according to egriz, next season is already over. The griz have won the conference and the NC. They have the Swogger to Chambers connection now. They are off to Chatty.

Darn.

Actually, that's a good thing.
It allows the Griz to thump the 'cats on the way to Chatty....thereby restoring order to the universe (which had temporarily succumbed to the forces of chaos.)

Congratulations to them. I don't know much about him off the field, but he sounds like he has all the tools to be great athlete.

I hope he has a great career in the classroom, and in the community.

Nice job taking the high road HelenaCat95 :!:

Personally, I'm looking forward to seeing how the great HS development program that UM is will do with all of their newfound OUT OF STATE TRANSFERS.

Too bad Swogger will be throwing passes while laying on his back, and their defense won't be able to stop an Ethiopian JuCo team from ramming it down their throats.

I had to go visit their board to see the reaction.

They get a back-up QB from the last place team in the Pac 10 and an alleged head-case WR who couldn't start on the other last place team in the Pac 10 and suddenly everyone over there is going gaga with anticipation.

The meltdown will be fun to watch from afar next fall. I mean, with two Heisman Trophy candidates on their roster now they should be lobbying to move up to 1-A immediately.

Oh, and don't forget BRADSHAW! He's awesome!

The receiver they got was a back up receiver on the last place team.

Both schools finished 1-7 in the Pac 10. According to Griz fan logic, this means they tie for last place regardless of head to head results.

Didn't Tab Perry and Ronnie Rodamer have similar stats too?

Hopefully you guys have a line that can protect your QB whose mobility is questionable at best. If he's going to be connecting to Chambers, there better be a line present. If not, Swogger will be seeing the sky after each play.

Chambers has huge potential as I've watched him play each of the past 2 years. The problem is, you get his mother in the package deal. Even with the distance from Seattle, she will still have a considerable influence over him. It's not strictly a one-sided thing there. He relies on her for pretty much everything as well. He left Washington because he didn't feel he was getting enough playing time and though he thought he was living up to Willingham's expectations, he apparently wasn't. All the talent one could ask for and a work/practice ethic that didn't live up to any coaches expectations. His relationship with Keith Gilbertson wasn't all that great for the reasons mentioned above. In comes Ty and you get the same sob story and now a subsequent transfer to a I-AA program. Read between the lines there.......

He's got all the potential one could ask for but he has shown no consisent way to harness it.

Some of you griz fans think that these 3 I-A drop downs are the answer and an automatic ticket to Chatty. Tell me this, will these 3 players get a feel for the offense at the same time and all start clicking together at the same time?

Keep making the predictions of Chatty. You guys will have a lot of crow to eat before the season's over.

Tad Perry had the same numbers and is in the NFL. RR never did contribute at the college level. Under achiever. Came to camp with hammie problem that did not give him enough reps. He never learned the O. But Chambers contributed big time at UW. 2nd best numbers on a team he did not start for. My UW buddies said he was the best receiver on team, but never overcame his probems with coaching. If that continues he may not become a superstar at 1AA level. But if those problems dont follow him, his addition could be huge. He has the ability to go up and get a ball in double coverage with 1A athletes around him. He makes 1 handed circus catches and has the speed to run under an overthrown pass. He will spread the field, which means no more 8-9 in the box. Their RB could then have a huge year. Chambers mixed with that qb out of WSU and the other RB with 4.4 speed out of Louiville could make UM a much better team. Might have to hope for another year of injuries.
