Tech, Carroll sign Billings gridders
HELENA -- Paul Klaboe and Thomas Dolan, two all-state performers for state champion Billings West, have signed NAIA football letters of intent with Frontier Conference schools.
The 6-foot-2, 210-pound Klaboe, an outside linebacker/defensive end, will be joining the program at Montana Tech in the fall. Klaboe was the co-MVP on the Class AA all-state defensive team this past season and also made the first-team all-state offense at center.
The 6-3, 205-pound Dolan, another two-way all-state performer at tight end and outside linebacker, has signed with four-time reigning national champion Carroll College.

The Saints have also inked Chad McMillan, a linebacker from Billings Central.
The 6-1, 230-pound McMillan was a first-team Class A all-state performer at linebacker and on the offensive line.
Besides Dolan and McMillan, Carroll also announced the signing of offensive lineman Mike Vickhammer of Coeur d'Alene, Idaho; linebacker Justin Balbierz of Wichita, Kan., running back Kyle Ferabee of Coeur d'Alene, Idaho; and wide receiver Dylan Steigers of Missoula Sentinel.
In addition to Klaboe, Tech also signed Brian Nickel, a wide receiver/running back/punter from Helena Capital.

Billings West pair to Tech/Carroll
Billings West's Paul Klaboe and Thomas Dolan will be playing football for Montana schools. I would have liked for the Cats to go after one of these two, or both, but you can't go for them all.
