DaCats wrote:Hate to say this, but have any of you followed Nevada at all this season? I keep an eye on them, as well as other former BSC teams, just because of that: they are a former BSC team. Let's get past their big man, Fazekas, because he will get his points and rebounds. Their second leading scorer and rebounder is a kid named Marcellus Kemp. As a freshman, Dick Vitale listed him as one of his top ten "Diaper Dandies" in the nation. Didn't play at all last season because of an injury, so he fell off the radar. Came back strong this year, averaging almost 15 points a game. This kid is big for a guard (6'5"), and I don't think there is a single player in our conference that can play toe-to-toe with him, with the possible exception of Stuckey from EWU. He could easily go off against the Griz. The few games of theirs I watched this year I was impressed. Physically team that play both an uptempo and slow-down game. I wouldn't mind seeing the Griz upset them, but I also won't be surprised if the game isn't even close. I haven't filled out a bracket here, but in other brackets, I have the Wolfpack going to the Elite 8
Kemp did go off in that game, but it was in a losing effort which me likes.

I picked the Griz over Nevada. I watched how they handled NAU last week felt they could pull it off. I like the way coach K coaches and was impressed by Straight's play...
