Weber State will lose Four players
As more and more time elapses from the release of Joe Cravens and his coaching staff from Weber State University men’s basketball program, and the subsequent hiring of new head coach Randy Rahe, the makeup of the team is changing more and more. WSU center 7'0"Danko Barisic and WSU center/forward 6'7" Clint Burris have both officially stated they have decided to leave Weber State for other basketball opportunities. It is known that other players ( Matt Amadi and Dan Henry ) have also decided to depart, but have chosen not to make a public statement at this time. So 6'8" Patten and 6'9" Jones and 6'9" Pajevic are back along with 6'3 Silveira and 6'1 Covington and 6'3" Shelton..... SO we need a new Starting five and then some... 7 new players are alot, however we could sign 9 and have a couple of missionary's go direct on missions... The local Juco's are loaded this year with not only good players, but Utah kid players such as Snow's Geoff Panye Fr. and 21 ppg POY and 6'8" Gary Wilkerson another Fr. with three years left.. Also WeberState recruiting a 6'11" center from Kansas and 6'9" and 6'1" players from MIdland Tx. Along with Juco from California...SO we know that Coach is in on a couple of 6'10" players from Oregon

It certainly can't help a new coach, but WSU is always non-traditional in the BSC. Different academic standards and their players are often 'more mature' than other teams in the BSC.
