Does anybody have any information on what took place with the Rocky women's team? I see that two captains from last year, Steph Neubauerand Alyssa Root, have been dismissed from the team, anybody know why??

The players had their scholarships taken away. I read the story on this in the Billings Gazette and it was reported that the players were kicked off of the team "because of "philosophical" clashes with the head coach." That is all I am aware of. However, it was also reported that the students would be receiving financial assistance for school.

I understand that a coach and players could clash over a philosophical difference, but booting two of the team captains from the team for "philosophical differences" sounds fishy to me. The coach even said that these were two great kids, both very intelligent and very good people. I don't understand this at all.
