MSU comes up short
The success of the University of Montana football and basketball teams this school year has been all the talk among western Montana sports fans. But many might be unaware of another Grizzly program that's currently making quite a name for itself.
The Montana lacrosse club continued its romp through the regular season Sunday at the Riverbowl fields, notching a 13-8 win over rival Montana State after beating Western Washington 13-6 in a Pacific Northwest Collegiate Lacrosse League B Division challenge.
The two wins, paced by sophomore attackers Zander Ault and Townsend Hall, pushed the Grizzlies' league mark to 7-0 and overall record to 9-1. Those victories backed up their No. 7 ranking in the latest Men's Division Intercollegiate Associates poll.

The GRIZ, a quarter century of total football dominance over the cats.

LOL I didn't hear anything from your lacrosse team last year when the Bobcats continually beat them.

SMACK, SMACK, SMACK. C'mon cats, gotta police your own. If this were a Griz fan post, there'd be 39 cat fans screamin' for them to "take it to the smack board - that's why it's there". Where are ya now??El_Gato wrote:Except in mizzoola, the "victim" was a Chippendale's dancer; it is my understanding that rather than press charges, he just gave out his number to all the griz players.

The thread isn't smack. It concerns college sports in the state of Montana. Isn't the "college sports world" the correct place to put something like that? I'm only concerned because there seems to be a bit of a double standard on this. With smack directed at cats, there's a zero tolerance. With smack directed at the Griz, there's seems to be much more allowable. Either way is fine. Just be consistent.lifeloyalsigmsu wrote:Who initially authored this thread?GrizinWashington wrote:SMACK, SMACK, SMACK. C'mon cats, gotta police your own. Why when the only ones who complain are Griz fans?GrizinWashington wrote:The thread isn't smack. It concerns college sports in the state of Montana.
