Bobby hit the portal and hit it hard. At last count they signed TWENTY transfer players. Looking at the list, some of those players are probably... meh. However, it does look like several of those players are pretty damn talented, and proven. Huge class of transfers is always a crapshoot with how well it all works out, even if the talent is there. Does anyone know if they found a way to pay some of these players big NIL bucks? That's the only way some of them make sense in terms if why they went to the Griz, IMO.

They got a few good transfers on paper, though I'd guess those guys will be one and done and on to the next school if they have a good season next year. Transfers will always happen to some extent but I think overall we should be very thankful that Vigen is building a program and not a revolving door.

He's probably trying to be innovative or follow what some high end FBS schools are doing. Not a bad idea for schools like UM, but I think he's skipping a rung in the ladder.

It’s funny you mention that as I was literally just researching this yesterday. The Griz have signed 18 transfers so far. I saw a recruiting site that ranked the top FBS transfer classes and the top 10 teams had averaged 22 transfers each. I thought 18 transfers sound sounded like a lot as well, but it looks like it’s becoming more and more normal for the FBS programs. It might still be an anomaly for FCS. Will be interesting to see how it all shakes out.
