Gonzaga won't make it past Texas Tech I don't think. They never play that well when it comes to the tourney.

Whats up with Vermont? It looks like even though Woody paige's favorite team won it look as though they lost according to the brackets.

Are the 16 seeds that good with the exception of Oakland U or are the 1 seeds that mediocre with the exception of UNC?

Yes, they were all fairly competitive. IMO, this has been the most competive first round ever. 5 upsets, not counting 7 vs. 10 and 8 vs. 9 upests..... Man I love this game!!!!!! :D 8)

Side note:
Vermont won. WTF is up w/ the brackets saying they lost??

Sorry about the bracket mistake. I didn't realize I clicked them when doing the updates. I caught the mistake tonight when the second set of games was finished. We are doing our best to keep this thing up to date, but we do make a mistake now and then. I assure you that when all is said and done there won't me any mistakes, I guess I just didn't want to see one of my final four teams not move on.

Congrats go out to BearBAC for being the true homer and tanking 7 points out of his bracket by picking the Griz all the way to the elite 8.
looks like he picked gonzaga to make it to the final four....no wonder why he is not posting anything.

I had Wake playing in the NC, as I'm sure a lot of people did.

There seem to be a higher number of upsets this year, or at least ones against teams that had a strong chance of making the final 4; Wake, Kansas, Syracuse, BC, Zags. Ouch

OK folks it starts again in about 40 minutes. Tonight is the night I make the big fall. I am tied for 7th right now (even that surprised me), if Louville can take out Washington I have a chance of keeping pace, but other than that this side of my bracket is pretty much toast!

Not bad mslacat......mine was toast as of last Saturday.......they didn't show too much of the UW-UL game here but Louisville looked tough from what they were showing.......Illinois looked great tonight......the backcourt points really was the difference......hopefully OSU wins tonight and can get a win against them so I can at least have one Final Four team right.....right now I am hoping not to finish last.

You won't. I think Mr. bearBAC already has that honor just about gift-wrapped. IMO, the only reason he is here is to talk smack...
