Ndsu defense is on pace to allow 600 yards.

NDSU lines are good again and their QB is good. BUT, their skill position players are not as good as usual. DB's are terrible. Yes, CO has some really good WR's but they are getting open by 10+ yards.

Doesn't NDSU know you're supposed to do a 93 yard TD run in that situation?

Like I said. Terrible DB's.

Deion doing his best to lose this game by throwing the ball instead of running the clock out.

I thought ndsu looked solid tonight. They had a lead at the half on the road at a P4 school, and had a chance to win late but ultimately lost by 5... they looked a lot less sloppy than MSU in the first game, against a better opponent.
Just my opinion.

In other news SAC State just took the lead at San Jose late in the 3rd quarter but I just tuned in, no idea how the game has gone.

I need to go back and rewatch, but didn’t the Bizon get homered at the end as the clock was restarted well before the ball was placed? I heard the announcers comment on it.

Just an observation, but it looks like Coach Prime is going to be in trouble when Shadeur and his Jacksonville State buddies leave. If not for them, Bison would have beat them by at least a touchdown or two.

Yes, the referee started the clock after the first down before the other ref had spotted the ball. They lost a good three or four seconds on that, I was surprised their coach didn't put up more of an argument about it. There also likely should have been a targeting review on the previous play as well.

It’s hard to say. If Colorado is better than last season, then the Bison were solid. Colorado seemed to move the ball at will and NDSU didn’t do anything in the second half until the Buffs went into some kind of prevent.

They tried to throw much more than in the past. I don't think they showed as strong of a run game, bot o line did give Miller time to throw. Their run D looked solid but not sure that is CO strength. Their DBs were lost most of the time. Maybe it was scheme that works against FCS but CO has some good receivers

I saw that too, I was also surprised. But they did throw the ball with 0:00's, and it took that 3-4 seconds for the guy to catch it and fall down, so probably wouldn't have made a difference.
It seemed like that whole last drive the clock operator was letting it run and then forcing the refs to tell them what to reset it to.

It may have allowed them to run two additional plays before the hail mary instead of only one, but I agree that it probably didn't make much of a difference. Pretty odd ending overall with Colorado on offense trying to throw a deep pass when they could've run out virtually all of the remaining clock just by taking a knee three times.

Random tidbit that made me giggle a bit. Was watching this game at an establishment and some woman next to me asked me about the teams playing, if it was a playup game, etc. So I explained that all to her and she says, but it's NDSU playing the University of Colorado right? Yep. So it's the Bison playing the Buffalo's... but aren't they the same thing? LOL

I totally agree on the targeting review. It looked more like a violation than the one they actually called against NDSU.

Watched the game in a bar with no sound. Heard on the radio the announcer sounded like his goal was to suck up to Dieon and kiss his butt.

That figures. He wants to get on the Prime Time train. He can have him.
