Listen - I hate that team over the hill as much if not more than anyone else. But let's not get too giddy just yet. This is the time of the year that Bobbi somehow gets his team to perform at their best, and they could surprise folks. I think SDSU still wins, but the winning margin may be smaller than some folks want to believe.
I mean they've looked like ****** all year, they looked like ****** against us, they looked like ****** last week, I sure the ****** don't see them rising to the challenge and giving SDSU any problems.
Oh listen brother, I understand. I'm seeing the same thing you are. But it seems like every time Cat fans think the dark pinkies are done, they usually do something to surprise you. Maybe it's all that PTSD I suffered during the streak, but I never count the pinkies out until they're dead and buried.

There's no way they should have made it as far last year as they did. But as long as teams are stupid enough to kick the ball to Junior, they have a fighting chance.

If SDSU and MSU have comparable defenses, and I think the gris played above their potential in The Brawl, this wont be close. I dont blame gris fans for being optimistic, thats what being a fan is all about. But, their season ends on Saturday barring what would be probably be one of the biggest upsets in FCS playoff history.

Gris fans roll into Brookings and overwhelm the stadium with their patented "noisiest fans in the sports world" and their uninterrupted mentions of "gris stadium being better than all other stadiums" and that inhibits the rabbits for at least one play. After that, rabbits roll to a decisive win but after the win, the SDSU coaches comment that "gris stadium, with their fan base, is probably the noisiest place in the world to play and the coaches were glad they had to play in Brookings." Gris leave satisfied that they have cemented their stadiums legacy as the Mecca and noisiest stadium in the world..

Classless pricks might be a bit harsh. I was at the season opener last year and I don't think I ran into a single C.P. On the contrary their fans were welcoming.

Inspired by some back and forth from belligerent bobcat, I want to know what everyone else thinks the outcome of the gris @ Wrabbits. pick a score and lets see who gets closest.

I'm going 52-0 Jacks. gris hold them on 1 possession resulting in a field goal, otherwise its just touchdown mania in Brookings.
As bad as the gris are in relation to their preseason expectations were, they are a better football team than all but 3 MVFC teams. And SDSU gets horrible attendance for their playoff games. Wabbits comfortably win but its something like 31 - 13.
They have not shown that on the road.

SDSU fans were great last year when we went to Brookings.

The Griz needed Bergen to return two touchdowns to pull ahead of Tennessee State-- at home, under the lights. ST scores aside, they were totally even in scoring: 27-27. If you can't boat race a BS-OVC team in your own place, at night, you're not good. And if you're not good, the Jackrabbits are going to eat you alive.

SDSU's offense is down this year, but their defense is lights out. They could beat UM without scoring on offense.

41-6 Jackrabbits

I really do hope the Gris win. I'd love to get a rematch in the chipper but I don't think they will "get up" for this one like they did against us and will pretty much pack it in when they get down. If by some miracle/fluke they get a lead they might rise up for a quarter or two but SDSU will outlast them and probably beat them by a larger margin than we did.

SDSU by 30+.

The gris will be an embarrassment to the state of Montana (moreso than usual). Half of their starters will then enter the portal because Bobbi is a POS and they can't stand him. He, then, is so upset with his inability to win the big one (four time loser), that he quits and leaves the team and the community college in a pickle trying to find another coach...and he'll blame everyone but himself for the failure.

I’m not usually the guy who gets too into casting guesses because anything can happen in college football. But, the Griz are not good. They are not going to get or rise “up” for this game, they don’t have additional gears this year. SDSU would have to play generationally bad for the Griz to stay in this one, not gonna happen.

IF they kick to Bergen, I can see 38-14. If they don’t kick to Bergen, I can’t see them doing better than 38-10.

I think the game this past weekend in Columbus, Ohio proves that anything CAN happen. Mostly likely won't, but can.

How many points does gris special teams score? At this point, the predictions from Gris fans have to be taking that into account. I think Bergen is their only hope.

No special teams touchdowns this week.
