Wow, a CP player also finished in second place. Nice to see them getting some respect, although I'm guessing Beck would give the award back for a chance to go back in time and get a shot at playing in the playoffs. There's no way Cal Poly would've gotten beat 56-7 in the first round by UM!

Check out Joran Beck's tie! It looks like he got it when he was 6 years old.

...sorry I don't know this; how does Cal Poly rank with Leheigh (!) Rice and our engineering program lately? Used to teach careers and this was always source of pride for me. (Even though I'm not a product of the school of engineering)

For schools that don't offer Ph.D's Cal Poly is third in engineering behind West Point and the Naval Academy according to U.S. News & World Report.
