Good luck Griz. I honestly mean that. If we were there, I'd hope they were giving us support too.

Unfortunately, most of them wouldn't. I wish for once we could finally play a game after the Griz are done (Next Year!) to test the theory, but I'm convinced you'd see VERY few griz fans sincerely rooting for the Cats.

I too hope they do well, and bring the NC back to Montana.
There's a lot of good kids on that team, and I wish them the best.
Good luck Griz.

Hey, and good luck Carroll, going for a 3-peat! This would be extremely cool to see 2 MT schools win national championships on the same weekend.
Tell you what, if the Cats were playing tonight, its a guarantee that I'd be driving 200 miles to go support the Saints the next day. Maybe a little (ok, a lot hung over) but I'd still be going to cheer on CC the next day. I mean for MT travelers, what's a 200 mile drive to go see a football game?
I also suspect a Saint supporter or two will be in Chatahoochee tonight rooting for the Griz. Unless of course there are Carroll events planned for the team and fans in Savannah.

They are good kids; rarely do you see athletes mocking and taunting opponents. See a lot of clerks, and...Hope they win since we couldn't be there this year.

Cat Grad...what are "clerks" You say that a lot, and I am missing the boat on this one.

Sorry, I made an assumption; in the south and the NFL, football coaches and players use it as an insult to rather accurately portray those of dreams or illusions/delusions of grandeur. I guess it's taken the place of wannabe in kid slang. They also use it in reference to the types that hang around with somebody like O.J.s male roomy.

...and I can't help myself here; the Chattahoochee is a river that starts in north Georgia and winds its way to the gulf and separates Geogia from the lowlifes, er, L.A., in Alabama where they think they play football. Remember your Montana history, 83 percent of the original white settlers in Montana came from Georgia and the secesh from Alabama came later and wound up around Ft. Missoula and the Bitterrot...and would eventually go to school in Bozo, wind up helping to bring our great athletic program to its knees, get the position as conference commissioner...

Confusing to me but then again I already voted so it really doesn't matter.

...just trying to point out that Choo Choo and the Chattahoochee are two different geographical features...forgot; most of the folks in here are grads of a logical discipline and weren't forced to take a pile of useless trivia coursework...

Is there a football game on tonight? I'll be watching the Bobcat men's basketball team play MSU-Northern. MSU-Northern has a Belgrade kid on the roster.
BTW-John Bozeman was from Georgia if I recall correctly.

Meriwether County just north of Ft. Benning is where John came from, as were the Brooks and the Story family...I'm not sure, but I think the Four Georgians that discovered the gold fields around Helena and Confederate Gulch...

Plenty of time after work to get liquored up before the game which helps one be able to stomach the result more easily.

Everyone needs to go to the Cat Basketball game and forget about the James Madison game.
