I always hate to hear things like that. It just amazes me how quickly and easily some people resort to violence. I pray for his recovery, I know how tragic this is to the kid and the team.

Incidents like this make you appreciate coaches like Kramer who ban their players from going out to bars during the season. There are always idiots out there looking to prove how tough they are by beating up an athlete (yeah, with the help of 9 other guys...)
