Good for them...we at MSU would love to have a coach like Selvig, or a coach who stays for more than three years for that matter and doesn't "resign" for shady reasons!

Anyway, Idaho State as the #73 mens program in the nation? How long has it been since they've done anything to warrant that ranking?

Congratulations GRIZ. As an out of state fan of both Montana and state. I read the message boards to keep informed on what’s happing with the teams. I don’t think I have seen any lady cat postings in a week or two. What gives?

Robin Selvig is the best thing that's ever happened to any program of any type in the state of Montana. He's a legend in his own time and I only hope that when he leaves someone will be there to fill half the shoes.

Yeah, but who honestly cares about women's basketball?

Selvig is definitely a hell of a coach, but I would argue that Denny Washington is the best thing to ever happen to the University of Montana athletic program.

Yeah, if it wasn't for Denny Washington the Griz would only have 1 sport to brag about :)

Wow the hypocracy among Cat fans is unbelievable. You say to Griz fans there are other sports than football and say that's all we talk about.......but who cares about women's basketball? Epitome of bandwagoners -- look in the mirror.

Correction -- The best thing that's ever happened to the Montana football program is not Denny Washington..........it's the Montana State Bobcats

Nick, I think you need to look up the meaning of the words "hypocrisy" and "bandwagoner" in the dictionary before you go spouting off like a stupid high school kid again.

Wow great comebacks. Too bad everyone else on this board lacks the wit you carry.

Meet me by the monkey bars after school. :P

Care to elaborate??? Would this be back to the main point of the thread? Most likely not....Bozone you're a touchy and sad little man......

I believe my original point in this thread was: good for the Lady frizzlies, but who cares? It's women's basketball - big deal.

Not sure why I had to reiterate that for you.

well i posted the article...

Bozone's Griz envy kicked in off the bat...
you said who cares about womens basketball because obviously msu doesn't really have much to cheer about, hence the band wagoner term (two words...thanks)

And I pointed to the fact of how much of a hypocrite you are by saying Griz fans only care about one sport.

and you called me a dumb high school kid spouting off...

you corrected my spelling and didn't deny the truth glaring you in the face

Then you got in a tissy fit because I didn't check my spelling.

Then I said I'd meet you at the monkey bars and you got all touchy like a 7th grade girl....I complimented your quick wit and you didn't take that too well either

and it all started when i started a threat on the board regarding other college news....

about another college's news.....

Not sure why I had to reiterate that for you.

Oh and I edited this..........

Wow, I think this entire stupid spout has gone completely over your head. Put down the pipe and read real slow this time.

1.) You posted a link to the article re: Lady friz program

2.) I said "who cares?" - because I could care less if our women's basketball program was #1 in the country, not because I am jealous. I really just can't stand to watch women's basketball, and the numbers show that not many people (relative) do. I'll be happy when the MSU women's team does well, because I like to see all Bobcat teams do well - but I really don't lose any sleep when they lose.

3.) Where did I say that griz fans only care about one sport? They care about two - and sadly, men's basketball isn't in that list.

4.) You are a dumb high school kid who thinks he knows everything, just like all of us were when we were in high school.

5.) Nowhere did I say anything about spelling. I questioned your comprehension of the words "hypocrite" and "bandwagoner," and I am still pretty sure your understanding leaves something to be desired.

6.) Still didn't say anything about spelling.

7.) Since you couldn't come up with an intelligent retort, you reverted to making a smart-ass comment that proved every point I have made on this thread and in the past.

I think that pretty much covers it.

Same as Bobkitties. Doesn't really annoy any of us. At least not me.

Nick is proud of his program and is posting their accomplishment, which should be applauded, not made fun of. Women's basketball will never reach the popularity of men's basketball as a whole, but I know several people at UM who only attent women's games. Some people love women's basketball, don't ask me why. And the Griz have a great program especially considering we are in the Big Sky.

Both of you need to have some respect, but when he posts an article on something he cares about, and you respond with "That's great but who gives a hoot", of course he's going to get a little defensive.
