Griz Lose Farr and Easley

Post by mslacat » Thu Mar 31, 2005 3:12 pm

It has been reported in the Kaiman today that Lamar Farr and Cory Easley will not return
next year for the Griz. There has been a rumor that two players were not returning, and it
appears that these are the two players. The Griz needed to lose one player to get down to
the 13 Max scholarships for next year. -They signed 3 players in the fall- so they should
have one scholarship to offer this spring.
I have heard they have one or two JC points Guards coming in and at one JC big guy ,
possibly 6-8 Tommy Craddock of Washington (MSU is also recruiting him) and are
actively recruiting Jack McGillis. Signing a point guard seems a big priority, but a JC
big man can not be far behind. I don't know if Craddock, though, will be able to go D-1
without visiting a JC first.
The interesting thing , though, is that I have heard from some pretty good source last
month that seldom used and oft injured center McKay was graduating and Lynch was
transferring. So I am very curious to see if Farr and Easley are in addition to Lynch and
McKay.
I will open the McGillis can of worms later.
