It's official, the UNC Bears are in as the ninth team in the Big Sky Conference.

Welcome aboard to the Bears, I look forward to a renewed rivalry!

I know they have less-than-desirable facilities but this game is close enough for a road trip, which is nice. Welcome UNC!

From what I have heard at least they are willing to work towards upgrading their facilities. Had heard somewhere that students voted to increase fees for some improvements and sounds like the administration was pretty willing to do whatever it took to gain entrance.

Glad Meat pointed out how easy this game is for a road trip--with a few detours along the way for visiting family.

I would have much rather seen the Dakotas enter the conference, but at least UNC is more then willing to build their program to meet the BSC demands. I was impressed that the students vote to accept the increase in the student fees. In Bozeman if you entertain the idea of an increase there are protests and rallies!
