What was the final score on the NAU game? I bet State rolled them.

I think what he meant is that Jerome Souers will probably be unemployed in a few weeks due to NAU's last 2 seasons which have been very poor compared to the 2003 co-championship season, especially with Jason Murrietta at quarterback. Maybe a nice win over the Griz next week will save his job. \:D/

GO CATS!

I'm happy for the players from State for winning because I live in Montana. I've always liked Coach Souers from NAU, and I'm sorry he's having such a bad season. A couple of years ago, his team was good (knocked on McNesse State in the playoffs, if memory serves. BTW, what was the score?

Stats for UM were poor to average at best. 160 yards passing and Lex had 75 yards. The griz have not thrown for 200 yards yet this year (maybe EWU after the game was all but over) and Lex has only had one big game. The griz offense is still piss poor. Defense, returns and turnovers have saved the day this year.

That "piss poor offense" didn't do too bad against PSU today.

How'd your offense do against them...where it counts?

Being a cat fan you should be probable shouldn’t be using "piss poor" to be describing any football team. Those who live in glass houses....

tsk, tsk, tsk.........I wouldn't say the offense is piss poor, as we did get over 300 yards of offense and won the time of possession battle. (Time of possession battle tells more than total yards) I'd say the offense is still maturing which it is!

This game should be the perfect answer to your post last week and it's what Griz fans have been saying for a long time. The Griz don't need big "stars" or big "stats" from any one or two players. It's team effort that gets most of our wins. The whole team......

I think we had about 600 yards of offense against PSU. just a little under our average.

Boy, I'm glad UM didn't get that many, or they might have lost too!

You jizzlies seem to conveniently forget that you played at home and we played against them on the road. I don't think you guys would be singing the same tune had your game been played in Portland this past weekend.

Speaking only for myself, I can say I didn't "conveniently forget" anything about where the game was played.

It's pretty much been said, ad-nauseum, that the Griz have a 14 point advantage when playing a game at Washington/Grizzly...OK, fine, and it's understandable.

With the score of yesterday's game as a reference point, let's say the game was played in Portland, and the 14 point advantage is negated by the change in venue. Doesn't that mean that the Griz still beat the Vikings by a TD?

Sounds like the same song to me.

If you seriously, in all honesty think that the reason the Cats lost that game was because of our offense, you know less about football than a 2 year old.

I thought it was obvious. My point was it doesn’t matter what your offense does if your opponent scores more points. Your offense did fine. The deference was we controlled the whole game! Wouldn’t it be nice in TL didn’t have to carry the whole weight of the world on his shoulders. It’s tough being a one man show. The cats will be sitting home again this year because there is no way you beat either Eastern or the Griz playing that poorly.
