UTTERLY INCREDIBLE GRIZ BB!!!
I honestly don't mean this to smack, but will understand if it ends up there.
In all the years I've watched Griz and Lady Griz BB, I have never been so impressed with BOTH programs.
The Lady Griz have been running smoothly since game 1, and the Griz... well, what can you say besides Griz 88, Stanford 69?
There's no doubt... it's the Griz and Lady Griz again this year, in the BSC.
Ok, let me have it.

MSU men's basketball is starting to catch on and they'll be right up there in the thick of the race. So will the Griz. As for the women's team, there isn't much of a challenge for them in this conference, except NAU. Good for the Griz, they beat Stanford. Let's see how it goes on Jan. 13 (women) and Jan. 14 (men) for Cat-Griz in Bozeman.
GO CATS!
It's always a good day to be a Bobcat fan!

My name is Steve, if you'd like to know.

That's not what I meant. I'll fix it to say there won't be anyone who can challenge the Lady Griz, except for maybe NAU. The Lady Cats will probably pick up steam at some point and they could be dangerous and hungry for a win or two here and there. I bet the Lady Cats put up one hell of a fight when the Griz come here. Remember last year's game in Missoula? The BSC champs Lady Griz beat the lowly seventh-place Bobcats...by 2 in OT. The second meeting in Bozeman was a one-point game at halftime before the Griz pulled away.MaZooLaGriz wrote:Excuse me? So when was the last time a Bobcat Mens Team ever beat a Big 10 Team in basketball???? You mignt have to look back a few years to find that, if it ever happened.
The Griz teams look very good this year Bozoland. I don't see that the Cats, as you call them, State teams to me, have been very impressive thus far. If I'm wrong cite me the games that I have over looked that the Bobcat Nation has been defeating Big Ten basketball teams this year or in the past 20 years.
Just wondering how your collective minds might work on the subject. Just line up your mindful responses.

Well, we've beaten Texas Tech, Colorado, and Mississippi State at the fieldhouse in the last 10 years...when we've actually gotten power conference teams to come to Bozeman, we've beaten them just like the Griz did.Cannonball wrote:So when was the last time a Bobcat Mens Team ever beat a Big 10 Team in basketball???? Hey I know someone out there knows what Mick's record is against the Griz since he's been head coach. It's not something that I keep track of, but I know the Bobcats have won the majority of those games.
It's interesting to me, to read Griz fans talking smack on the boards about their basketball program too. Since they don't have bragging rights against the Bobcats during CAT/Griz games, they have to try and play the card (comments like this):

I hope Griz fans don't turn into Griz fans in basketball as well.Cannonball wrote:So when was the last time a Bobcat Mens Team ever beat a Big 10 Team in basketball???? You mignt have to look back a few years to find that, if it ever happened.
