Hauck Makes Typical Excuses in Media Interview

Fritz Neighbor of the Missoulian ran a Hauck interview today, which included more classics from Bobby H.
I saw this info posted on the UGMB, which I visited for the first time today. Had to see the poster who I have been accused of being. Cool board. Here is what was said.
Hauck predictably ran out the old "we were a young team" excuse, which he has utililized in three consecutive years to explain such happenings as 1) losing to a Div.II team, 2) losing to the Cats again 3) losing at home in the first round of the playoffs again 4) losing at all to anybody!
Next season, we lose 9 starters to graduation, which means that Bobby will have another perfect opportunity to tell the world how young the Griz are.
Then, in the interview, Bobby pulled out a new excuse for the late-season downhill sleigh-ride his team took by telling us that scheduling Oregon was a big mistake. You see, we got too many injuries in that game, and "we never really recovered". Perfect time to bring the old "too many injuries" out of mothballs. He failed to mention that every other big Sky team also played against IA teams earlier in the season. While this fact didn't seem to effect his opponents, it was a deciding factor for the Griz. Curious.
Finally, he spun his magic to a level never before witnessed from this coach, by stating that his team "wore down as the season progressed", and just "was not the same team" the last part of the season.
I guess Bobby thinks that playing well for 7-8 games is all that is required.
One known fact is that Bobby had his kids practicing in full-contact for long hours following the Cat loss. There were several players injured in these practice sessions going into the Cal Poly playoff game, and the team was tired and worn down as they took the field to start the playoff run. It was obvious that they had no fire when they took the field versus Cal Poly.
So, Bobby, they "wore down" late in the season, huh? Gee, I wonder why?
