79-66.....could someone please give me valid reason, again, why we aren't courting them?.....please note the sarcastic tone. i think ndsu has mostly a freshman roster.

We'll have to wait and see how we play Denver at home. NDSU beat them, but at home. NDSU lost to Wis. Green Bay in Wis. by 5.

We'll get to see both teams here. We play Denver on the 22nd and NDSU on the 29th in the first game of the Holiday Stores tournament. Both should be good games.

I'm positive I'll be labeled as a "bad fan", but the Grizzlies are beating Stanford at home by 19 points and we Bobcat fans are talking about good games against Denver and NDSU, one of which the team has already lost a game against.

Celtic, I'm guessing by your emoticon that you must have read the Cats' nonconference schedule recently? I know it put me to sleep when I saw it.

It's true, our OOC schedule may be incredibly weak and uncommonly boring, but... wait, I can't think of a good "but." We have lost every real game we've played so far ... plus one against a D-II.

Ahhhh, BUT wait until conference, my friend. We might win some games then, and from there we're just one major turnaround from a #65 seed in The Dance. You know what that means? Yep, the first team to win 7 games in an NCAA tournament. That's what we're setting ourselves up for. Can you feel the anticipation building?

I don't know about you BAC, but I can't wait for the NCAA tournament play-in game against Hartford in Dayton, OH. I'm sure a couple of households will tune in for this game to see who plays Duke in the first round of the real tourney.

Somewhere on the board is a quote from someone who set up this schedule saying that the OOC slate was set up so the 'Cats would get a high seed after winning the Big Sky Tournament.

I laughed then; I laugh now.

NDSU spanked Idaho State tonight 86-69. The Bison are really playing well right now and this young Bison team has finally figured out how to finish off teams down the stretch.

Denver is a decent mid-major team. I believe they won the Sun Belt conference and were a 20 game winner last season. Denver's RPI is a respectable 131. I think NDSU is also a good regional D-I team to have on the schedule. It's the Wayland Baptist and Carrol College games that need to be upgraded.
