Idaho would have whooped us last year, but Troy and Mellott had a big game.

Idaho is set up to succeed with facilities cost of attendance etc.

Makes the Big Sky a lot tougher conference and better overall.

Doesn’t surprise me at all.

Like I said before: The griz go out and get a career back-up to be their starter and MSU gets a career starter to be their back-up. Johnson has never been great but the griz thought they found the next coming of Dave Dickerson. Watch his tape. He was never real good.

I think the best they can hope for is a split the next two weeks; their o line is very vulnerable and their QB doesn't seem to be good enough to make up for it. If we can stop getting injured we should be well positioned to beat them this year and get a bye (assuming we get by Weber and NAU, which I think we will).

The injuries though...that's an issue.

I didn't know that. I think gris fans were super impressed with his bowl game win at SDSU last year. He did at least start that game I think.

I had a feeling the griz really weren't as good as the Montana media and their fans were making them out to be. I mean their best win was South Dakota, who just got beat today by Indiana State!

They will also get some recruits away from EWU. If you're from Washington and not quite what the Huskies or Cougars are looking for Idaho's a very nearby option. They lost that pipeline a bit when they went FBS and tried to recruit nationally-all those kids went to EWU.
