Brint calling it like it is here. However, I guess it was Ragle who "wasn't going to be there anymore".

Best of luck to him. Seems like a good guy. ISU is a black hole.

Less than a year!

And now their best player is leaving. He is probably an FBS player but I would be thrilled if he came to Bozeman.

Oof, Ragle fleeing the sinking ship. Which open Big Sky job is more desirable (or less undesirable), ISU or UNCU?

Vigen and House are following him on Twitter if that means anything.

You can bet that it means something, although I'm not sure if MSU is going to be very high on the list of desirable destinations for a transfer portal WR this year.

Yeah that's a tough sell. Come here and block. However, I think MSU would have more success throwing the ball if they had a Lance McCutcheon type who could go win the 50/50 balls.

He called out his team multiple times this season. He probably wasn't wrong in his thinking, but he stood a chance to lose pretty much everybody, and I'm not sure he would have found the guys to replace them in a reasonable amount of time. "It's a bold strategy Cotton. Let's see if it pays off for him."

He had a lot of health problems this year too. Being a ST coordinator is probably a great job for him and his overall health. And when you look at the money, that's a no-brainer. I think it's going to be what Bobby Hauck does if and when he steps away from being a head coach.

He has an offer from MSU.

Also has offers from Utah and Arizona State, so it seems pretty unlikely he stays Big Sky.

Wouldn't that actually be something. Both of them called out the team this year. Maybe they see eye to eye and this is the plan.

That's a conspiring theory worthy of...never mind. I won't get into politics and making fun of the crazy repu....nevermind.

I am not sure I understand this move. Ragle was the special teams coach at another PAC 12 school, California, before he took the Idaho
State job. I assume his salary there was comparable to Arizona State.

Brint Wahlberg’s logic does not hold up.

Pocatello sucks and he probably doesn’t need that much stress when he can make more elsewhere.

True but wouldn't he have known that before taking the job?

I’m sure he did, but when you desperately want a HC job, you’re probably willing to overlook some things. I’m guessing it was a lot worse of a job than he expected it to be, and if he’s married, well…I can’t imagine my wife enjoying Pocatello lol.
