Good for him. I thought he’d get a tryout somewhere. He’s a smart guy and I think he’s going to do well.

Especially if they have him playing safety...but I thought he already used up his 8th year?

You know a program is top heavy when special teams needs an assistant who is also working with Canadian rock bands.

Barney really loves Bobby, I guess this gets them closer. I don't get it as Barney seems like a fun guy and Bobby doesn't. Maybe hiring the kid gets him closer to his idol.

Was just thinking the same thing. Barney is one step closer to his dream job of being an assistant for Bobbi in Missoula. He must think if he hires Robbie, Bobbi will reward him down the line.

I take it recruiting wasn’t going so well at San Diego State. Seems like a demotion to me, but good luck to him at Hillsboro State. At some point the talent base there is due for a solid season , isn’t it?

Yep. Practice hasn’t started yet and Robbi already has 6 career college coaching wins.

I don't think he'll follow Bobbi but I can see the next HC hiring him as DC if he has at least a couple years as a position coach at that point.
