Was checking out Gamecast stats... 99 yard return.

Interesting 2nd half coming up.

The defense dept regretfully informs you your team lost because they were stupid.

Inexcusable by Hendrix. What a travesty for Furman so far this quarter.

15 points off the 2 Bergum TDs. The second one was inexcusable. Even those 25 yard shank punts are a better option than kicking to Bergum. Furman's D was playing great, why not trust them?

I despise Bobby, but he always has very good special teams.

Maybe. I don't know if a special teams returner is a spot that will get a 6 figure NIL offer, like a quality lineman who's on the field every play. (Yes he's a wr too but probably not an FBS wr)
Plus he's a Montana kid so he may decide he wants to stay in Missoula.

But he did commit to Choate prior to the griz so there's a chance Choate makes him an offer. We shall see.

Yeah, my wife even pointed out the most obvious one a yard away from Bergen but still, don’t punt to him.

Was that the one that the ESPN announcers pointed to as an example of our guy doing a great job of avoiding illegally blocking in the back?

I’m sure your wife and the “experts” here know better, though.

Ok but if you're going to use the ESPN announcers as your expert witnesses on this play then you'll have no problem accepting that those same announcers pointed out on other plays that the game officials either errantly made or missed calls, with some or many of those mistakes favoring um.

I’m pretty sure those same officials and replay official didn’t see the Gris WR’s right hand land out of bounds first before they “confirmed” a catch at a crucial spot in the game.

That’s the thing about arguing about blown (or arguable) calls. Once you start doing it, you pretty much have to go back and review the entire game, and look at every call that was made/not made, and think about how all of them impacted the game.

Or…you can just accept that refs are human, and that’s part of the game.
