WBB: Utah and UC-Irvine face racism in Coeur d'Alene

Crazy story today of the U of Utah and UCI women's basketball teams. Gonzaga was hosting the tourney in Spokane, but a few of the teams were place in the Kootenai resort in CDA. Sounds like there was a bunch of racial harassment forcing the two teams to change hotels. It's crazy to think this BS still happens in 2024.

What a terrible incident. I hope there is a follow up article and those rednecks are brought to justice. It is unacceptable behavior that demands law enforcement action.

Very sad, North Idaho is one of my favorite places to visit and 99% of the people there are wonderful. Sadly, there's also the other 1%.

I live in Post Falls and can tell you there are some people I WOULD NOT spend time with. I hadn't heard about it before today. That incident was uncalled for and very upsetting to me.
