Could be wrong but I think this is legit. CCU is kind of known for crazy promotions to drum up fan support. They did a thing with their hoops teams where if the men and women combined for like 35 wins all season ticket holders got a full refund. I don't think the teams won that many but it was an interesting idea.

The university's athletic department is partnering with its concessionaire, Aramark, to introduce the 'CCU Kickoff Meal Deal: Every Football Game, Every Fan, Always Free.' This allows ticket buyers to get four items per concession stand visit, from a selection of hot dogs, nachos, popcorn, and fountain drinks.

I suspected the same at first but they actually announced it yesterday according to the story. Seems legit to me and probably a really good idea to sell a lot more tickets especially to families who'd probably have to spend $50 or more to feed everyone otherwise.

Bobcat behavior is not going to change regarding tailgating. I know quite a few folks who enjoy the tailgate better than the game. MUCH better. Ha ha

Definitely not, I'm sure MSU is bringing in millions in revenue every year selling season tickets and tailgate spots to people who couldn't care less about what's happening on the football field. Some of them sit near me...at least for part of the first half of each game.

In 2023, 23 states show more than one in three adults (35%) has obesity. Before 2013, no state had an adult obesity prevalence at or above 35%. Currently, at least one in five adults (20%) in each U.S. state is living with obesity.

Just from what I see, it has to be a greater number, surprised at the 35%. I weighed 196 about three weeks ago, am 6' 1". Not close to obese but am very self-conscious about my belly/waistline and my wranglers. Now down to 192 and dropping slowly. I have a niece that must weigh 400#, Patti thinks low to mid 300s. Needs crutches, walker... Her knees are shot, Dr's say lose a bunch and we can fix you.

You're not wrong but I've always kind of had an issue with the scale on what is "overweight" and "obese". With the numbers you gave, that's about 26 BMI which is considered overweight. If you somehow pack on another 20 pounds over the years you're "obese". I too, according to the scale am considered overweight at 5'10, 180. And while I could certainly drink less and eat better, I'm active and never really thought of myself as overweight.
My girlfriend just started with a personal trainer. After multiple back surgeries she gained a little weight. She's 5'4 and tiny to me. Was an active runner and biker. Shes very healthy and a doctor so she takes care of herself. Her initial numbers were 27 BMI which is overweight and just 3 points shy of "obese". I guess I just have never bought into that. I think I just have a different view of overweight and obese by my own eye test.

Joe Moglia, the former chairman and CEO of TD Ameritrade. Former coach and chairman emeritus of athletics at CCU, and currently serves as an executive advisor to the President.
He brought his team to missoula a few years back in the playoffs, and whipped those teddy bears pretty good, shocking most all of the gris fans, who still whine about that loss to this day.
He decked out his team with top end thermal gear before hand as it was a cold snowy rainy day. He came prepared and had his team prepared to play, execute and win. One hell of a coach and even better American financial Icon and entrepreneur. I personally would love to have that kind of guy someday show up at Montana State University. All he has ever done in life is win.

That’s what stood out to me too. I completely thought UM was gonna blow them out of the water, kinda like the MSU and William and Mary game was a couple years ago. Such a massive flip of the script where UM looked frigid and CC didn’t.

Gris players were shivering so bad on the field you could see it on tv. Had to affect their performance.
