The griz will take on No. 5 Nevada in the Big Dance. I think most of us Cat fans hope Krysto and his team do well (WIN). We enyy you. Best of luck and do the Big Sky proud. Krysto, you're a class act.

I feel this team can beat Nevada... under Krysko!

Great message... I for one will return the favor in the future.

The Men and Ladies shared a common affliction this season... failing to find the switch in some key games, that turned on the fire. But, if the Boys do find it this Thursday, I agree with your assessment.

And once again, what the hell does this have to do with Bobcat Athletics?

What Bobcat Athletic would you like to talk about. It was a nice gesture by a cat fan, please relax.

Great seeding for the Griz, and a very winnable matchup. Best of luck to the Griz ... I'll be a Griz fan as long as they are in the tourney (as I am for the BSC rep every year).
NOTE: I went ahead and moved this to the College Athletics board as it doesn't relate to the Bobcats. This doesn't suggest that it's not a good topic -- it is -- but this just keeps it distinct from Bobcat-specific topics. Thanks all!

Excellent seed for the Griz, congrats to them and I hope they do the BSC proud! Here's hoping the Griz are this year's 5-12 matchup upset, there's always at least one!

I made the remark about Krysto because he is a Montana boy who has done a remarkable job. He's done right about his team, his school, and his state. They're in our conference and they're our fiercest rivel. You'll never hear me say the same thing about Little Bobby Hauck. Sorry if I offended you, but I think he's doing something outstanding for Montana and the Big Sky.

On somewhat of a related note, NAU men get a 9 seed in the NIT and will play 10 seed Delaware St. If memory serves me correctly, all but the final four games in the NIT are played at tournament team host sites, and with NAU being the higher seeded of the two, I think they will get to host that game.

It was just the wrong forum, and the mod's once again put it where it belongs.

What truly amazes me is the fact that the Jizzlies just get a 12 seed in the NCAAs and yet, all these ignorant Jizz fans are over on our website celebrating their minor victory (will be short-lived as the Jizz party will be over on Friday night - one name: Marcellus Kemp). Must tell you something about e-Jizz - not worth the time to even log on

Yeah, we're celibrating instead of bitching about our coach during the off season... which last time I checked was today for you.

Just be a Montanan for the day. Not a Cat or a Griz.

The support for the Griz by you Cat fans on this site is truly surprising and appreciated. That being said, I think a 12 seed might be a little generous for a Big Sky school regardless of the season the Griz put together. I was expecting to play Gonzaga as a 14 or even UCLA as a 15, the selection committee never fails to amaze on Selection Sunday. Nevada could have their hands full come Thursday.

I don't mind rooting for the G-men at all during this post season. I've always admired Larry K and, well, it's just a better brand of bball than the stuff in Boz. at the moment.
I would never feel this way during football season. I'd be pissed and bitter. I don't feel like a traitor in this case, just a college bball fan who gets to pick a new favorite team for the tourney... so why not the griz.
F-it, I'll type it: Go Griz.

It is amazing to me that the fizzles are a #12 seed AND that there appears to be a legitimate discussion that the TreeSpikers will win! Are you kidding me? They AREN'T playing at home so the opportunity to steal points from Nevada will be remote. It will be close in the first half and then the lead will slowly move to 10, then 13...with a final victory margin by the Wolf Pack settling around 17. I hope there are A LOT of giggliez in my office pool.
Two things I definitely celebrate...a Bobcat victory and a fizzlie loss. I don't think I will be disappointed this week!
