2019 MT High School Football - Week 4
Class AA
1.) Billings West (3-0)
2.) Butte (3-0)
3.) Missoula Sentinel (3-0)
4.) Helena Capital (3-0)
5.) Helena High (3-0)
6.) Bozeman (2-1)
7.) Missoula Hellgate (2-0)
8.) Missoula Big Sky(1-2)
9.) Kalispell Glacier (1-2)
10.) Billings Senior (0-3)
Game(s) of the Week: Missoula Sentinel @ Helena Capital; Butte @ Kalispell Glacier; Helena @ Missoula Big Sky
Player(s) of the Week (#3): Missoula Hellgate QB/S Rollie Worster - 128 passing yards/136 rushing yards/4 total touchdowns (1 passing/2 rushing/1 interception return) vs. Missoula Big Sky; Bozeman RB Asher Croy - 214 rushing yards on 29 carries and 1 catch for 14 yards vs. Billings Senior
Special Notes: Rollie is the heart and soul of Hellgate's renaissance. He does it all for the Knights and he highlighted that last week by throwing for a score, running for two, and returning a long interception for a touchdown. Rollie will play basketball in college but he's a damn good football player. Asher finally hit his stride in his third game with the Hawks, eclipsing the 200 yard mark in rushing. Due to the loss of McCade O'Reilly, Asher is the guy in the Bozeman backfield and he is proving he's one of the best backs in the state game after game.
Class A
1.) Hamilton (3-0)
2.) Miles City (3-0)
3.) Frenchtown (3-0)
4.) Dillon (2-1)
5.) Billings Central (2-0)
6.) Libby (3-0)
7.) Laurel (2-1)
8.) Lewistown (1-1)
9.) Sidney (2-1)
10.) Havre (2-1)
Game(s) of the Week: Hamilton @ Dillon; Laurel @ Havre; Sidney @ Lewistown
Player(s) of the Week (#3): Libby RB Dawson Young - 230 rushing yards on 18 carries for 4 touchdowns vs. Ronan; Dillon QB Justus Peterson - 17/27 for 216 yards and 2 touchdowns as well as 68 rushing yards for 2 touchdowns vs. Butte Central
Special Notes: Libby has been dominate so far in 2019 and is the easy favorite to run away with the Northwestern A's #1 seed. Dawson Young has been a big part of that and he actually doubled his rushing yards and touchdown totals in the Week 3 win over Ronan. Dillon QB Justus Peterson is in his second year operating the Beaver offense and he had one of his best games last week against Butte Central. Justus is a long athlete with an easy stride when running the football and that athleticism makes him one of the best dual-threat QBs in Class A.
Class B
1.) Fairfield (2-0)
2.) Eureka (3-0)
3.) Missoula Loyola (2-1)
4.) Manhattan (2-0)

Player(s) of the Week (#3): Manhattan QB Lane Veltkamp - 5 total touchdowns (3 rushing/2 passing) vs. Three Forks
Special Notes: Manhattan was regarded as the top team out of Class B South this offseason and they have backed that designation up so far in 2019. The Tigers have outscored their first two opponents 101-14. Veltkamp has been fantastic under center for the Tigers who get another huge opportunity to prove they are a top team in the state vs. Missoula Loyola this Friday.

Special Notes: Bryan's second 8 or more touchdown performance of the season. He has been a revelation for the Clark Fork co-op in 2019 as he already has 22 touchdowns through 3 games for the Mountain Cats.

Helena High is 3-1 now, not 2-0. Beat Big Sky last night, lost to Butte last week. Big Sky 1-3. Bozeman 3-1.

Re: 2019 MT High School Football - Week 4
The Dillon-Hamilton game is living up to the hype. 25-20 Dillon in the 4th quarter. About 10 minutes to go. Game is in Dillon.
Hamilton was up 7-0, then 7-6, then 13-6, then 13-13, then 19-13, now 20-19...Dillon's first lead of the game. Hamilton scores to go back ahead 25-20 on Rostad TD run from 11. He has two TD runs. 8:34 to go.

Re: 2019 MT High School Football - Week 4
Watched Butte vs. Glacier tonight and Mellott is good. Very good. Glacier’s defense is pretty weak right now and the team is beat up. But Butte almost scored at will. 55-28 final. Butte now to 4-0. They looked pretty dang good. Both Moreno brothers run really hard and consistently picked up 3 more yards while being tackled. Pretty impressive.

Re: 2019 MT High School Football - Week 4
The Class A rankings came out tonight and #3 Hamilton (3-1) is ranked ahead of #5 Dillon (3-1). Go figure. I could understand that if Dillon's one loss was to a weak team, but they lost to No. 2 Frenchtown.
