HHS holds West to minus-16 yards rushing, but allows 373 passing and loses 31-28.

Sounds like it was a thriller!

Bozeman started slow last night to go down 7-0 early. But, they found their rhythm, scored 31 unanswered points and won going away. So far vs two opponents, speed has been key. Billings West comes to town this Next Friday. Really looking forward to it.

Bozeman plays Billings West tonight in Bozeman. Both teams are 2-0. In reading the write up in today's Chronicle, 86% of West's offensive yardage have come through the air. Bozeman has great speed on defense but they haven't seen this much passing yet. It should be interesting.

Should be a good game. If CMR wins against Capital tonight there will only be one undefeated AA team after 3 weeks.

Bozeman won the game 37-17. Turnovers (int) broke open a tight game.

CMR hosts Billings Sr. Friday night. Anyone watched Senior play and have any thoughts?

I went to that game...very dramatic and exciting. Capital went for 2 after their TD in the 3rd OT brought them within 1 point, which was a pretty gutsy call. It didn't work out for the this time though.

Capital's starting QB (Jacobson) returned on Saturday. Should give the Bruins a boost.

I run the scoreboard for Bigfork games. Plains forfeited its game against Bigfork tonight because they have too many kids injured (may have had something to do with the 79-0 loss last week), so Bigfork has the night off. Got a call yesterday, though, and Big Sky and CMR are going to play their game at Bigfork tonight (too much smoke in Missoula), so I'll be running the board for that. It should be fun to watch the big(ger) boys play on the field I grew up playing on. Hope some people can make it for the game to see the prettiest setting for a high school football field that you might ever see.

On another note, keep an eye out for Bigfork in Class B. They've surprised the heck out of me! Some great athletes, but maybe not enough size...typical Bigfork.

Hawks up 3-0 at the half over Glacier. Great struggle so far. Hawks a little more successful on offense so far.

Glacier wins 7-3. Hawks throw five interceptions. Tough game to listen to.

Glacier has a very, very good defense. So does Bozeman, from what I've heard. They have some great athletes in the defensive backfield and they get after the ball. They'll make you make mistakes, and it looks like they may have done that to Bozeman.

Arie Grey's (MSU 2000) Butte Bulldogs 62-57 over Senior.

Capital, CMR and HHS win big.

5 teams tied for 1st in AA at 4-1. Several good teams at 3-2.

I heard bozeman lost thier quarterback and did not reaaly have much to replace him with.
CMR coming together well and has played toughest schedule to date.
Capital got their quarterback back.
Helena HIgh has some tough games left.
Butte is scoring a ton of points and giving up a ton.

Shold be a fun second half.

What do you think of that Butte High QB? He's just a junior...correct? Is he a legitimate D-I prospect? I know that he's put up huge numbers this season, and I believe he's got pretty good size. Hopefully Arie can steer him towards MSU!!

He started slow against CMR in the first half, but warmed up in the second half. Once he got comfortable he showed nice touch. Big kid with good speed. Tough to bring down. He is only a junior. I think if he continues to mature and work hard he is a definite D1 prospect.
