No, they lost at Helena High last year.

And Capital High last night. 38-28 Bruins. CHS held Cook to 27-59 for 299 one TD and two INTs passing. He had a good game running though. CHS ran all over them.

Bozeman and Skyview both appear to have solid teams as well.

Ya CHS definitely looks tough again. I only saw the 2nd half last night, but I was much more impressed with Cook this time than I was last year vs HHS. Seemed much more accurate with the ball to me than what his stat line shows. I saw at least a couple passes bouncing off his receivers' hands, though. He can throw it hard!

You just used some poor AAnglish. "Capital" and "dark horse" can't be used in the same sentence when talking football. The Bruins are the best AA program. They may be tied with cmr 11-11 in title wins and 3-3 head-to-head in title games, but Capital is a much smaller school and has had a lot of turnover at head coach. They just keep rolling and have a better program down into peewee leagues.

I guess that was TECHNICALLY the same sentence. Might have skipped over a word there, cat_bracket.

HahA yeah I know what he meant. Just messing wth him. Capital is very balanced which is typically when they're at their best. Good line, good receivers, good backs, good D.

CMR has 13. Only three in the last 21 years. Capital has nine in that time span. CMR opened in 1965, Capital in 1974 (1975 was the first year with a senior class). Probably the best non-crosstown rivalry in the state. Well, next to Hinsdale-Saco that is.

The sophomore RB from cmr looks pretty impressive tonight. Cmr's qb seems to have a good arm

Please no. He is a tough runner. Most of his completions were within 5 yards of line of scrimmage. He had 3 passes completed that were beyond 10 yds of the line of scrimmage. CMR did not want to tackle him on his 81 yd run. One of the db's actual bailed away from a potential tackle. His receiver Daum is really who could not be handled.
