Will have to see how well coaches do their job as year progresses
No, they lost at Helena High last year.

Actually, I'm pretty sure they lost two games. I don't think any AA teams had fewer than 2 losses last season. I believe the top 4 or 5 teams all tied for first at 8-2. The way the tie-breakers worked out, Glacier was awarded the top seed, and Butte was seeded 2nd.

Some times the best team at the end of the year is not the same team that was best at the beginning. Simple truth but often forgotten.

I cant bring myself to voluntarily be filthy white trash and get a tattoo.

Its not really body art its inking "I am a real dumb attention whore" on your body for life. Fortunately my mommy hugged me enough when I was a kid......and yes I counted the times she tried to smother me with a pillow as quality time.

Capital 24, CMR 0; lots of dropped passes by the Rustlers.

Bozeman was up 42-6 in the third on Senior.

Helena 21-7 over GFH in fourth.

So what's up with CMR? They were picked 2nd in the pre-season poll, although teams like CMR, Capital, and West (also very disappointing thus far) probably get picked higher than they should sometimes, just because of their history and tradition. And granted, they've had a very tough schedule, having played 3 of the best teams in AA in their first 4 games. But still, they're now 0-4 for the first time in Jack Johnson's career. Were they just wildly overrated at the beginning of the season, or do they still have a chance to turn things around and get into the playoffs? They probably can afford only one more loss, if they're going to make the playoff field.

They have a lot of injuries but that's no excuse.

JJ needs to call it a season and get the sophs and jars some playing time and build for next year.

CMR's schemes rely on having stud athletes. They usually have that being one of the larger schools in the state, but it's fairly easy to defend when they don't. They played hard vs. CHS last Friday and they'll win some games. It was a hard-hitting game.

won't matter. Bozeman will beat big sky this week by about 50 and then capital next week by a few scores as well. too good.

The Great Falls schools are shrinking. So is Butte. Bozeman will need another high school within 10 years. Belgrade will AA within 10 years. Billings is about ready for a fourth high school and Helena is closing in on needing a third.
