AA Playoffs

Post by TomCat88 » Sat Oct 31, 2009 8:41 am

Unless I'm off on the tie-breaker here's how the AA playoffs should line up:

#8 Sentinel at #1 Capital
#5 Glacier at #4 Helena
#7 Big Sky at #2 CMR
#6 Bozeman at #3 Skyview

I predict Capital over Sentinel; HHS over Glacier; CMR over Big Sky; Skyveiw over Bozeman.

Then CMR over Skyview; HHS over Capital.

CMR over HHS.

TomCat,

You will need to redo your predictions...

MHSA site has Skyview vs Glacier, Helena vs Sentinel, CMR vs Bozeman, and Capital vs Big Sky

When was the last time West missed the playoffs?

*Edit: 1995. Amazing.

West's once since 1995 is very impressive. Especially since before 2002, only 4 teams made the playoffs.

Maybe more impressive is since 1986, Capital has only missed the playoffs once (2001?).

Thanks for the link, 1090 am covers the Hawks games in Bozeman and I think the only reception is within a couple hundred feet of the tower.

CMR will beat Capital if both teams make it that far.

They have improved since the 28-26 loss and I am not sure if Capital has they look flat.

I'm pulling for a Helena High/Capital chipper just so I can finally watch the Bengals take down those mohawk sportin' Bruins when it really matters... [-o< CMR has improved, but Capital definitely has not had a letdown all year.

HHS over CMR
Capital over Skyview

I've been waiting for Alpha to take your bet since he always thinks CMR will win everygame...."11 mini Jack Johnson's against the '86 Bears?" "Da Jack Johnsons!" But he didn't take you on in his last post (must think he's been jinxing them the past few years by betting on them), so I'll take CMR over Capital in his place. What are the stakes?

<ahem>..... CMR still needs to get by Helena High folks. Aren't you writing the Bengals off a little bit early?

Call yourself lucky...the announcers on 1090 AM for the Hawk football games are perhaps the worst I've ever heard. They put the AM in AMateur!

well, the standard procedure has always been a bottle. of course we wouldn't ever think about really betting online, but if we ever did, a medium range bottle seems to be par for the course. i'm riding quite a losing streak right now. i lost to that swilly kid a few years ago and had to send him a check. #-o then i lost an "internet bottle" to alpha. then we went double or nothing and i lost that too. there is currently a handle of citron sitting in the cats paw liquor store paid for and ready to be had. #-o so, personally i'm a woodford guy. you name your stakes. IF cmr and capital win i got capital. if you don't like the stakes, or don't drink, or whatever, i'll gladly change my ways! let me know your thoughts and we'll work something out. surely i gotta win sometime right?
