I'm predicting a sweep for the East in the first round, I thought that Skyview-Hellgate might be the only potential breakthrough for the West. CMR-Glacier should be close, but I think CMR will win.

You put Scobey before Opheim? So what is the name of the Opheim/Scobey co-op? I was gonna say Go Vikings, but ... ??? They should build a school in Thoeny and have Opheim and Hinsdale co-op. Actually there's a school in Thoeny.

Nate Bignell had 20 points for Drummond in their 69-46 loss to Joliet. He was 7-15 from the field, rest of the team went 10-48. UM recruit Chase White had a similar night scoring 23 on 7 of 14, but 46-41. The rest of the team was 6 for 21.

The Eastern AA is dominating play at the state tournament again...until teams crossover conferences for their playoff games the system has to be considered broken because you're clearly not getting the top 8 teams at the state tournament each year.

How about doing away with the divisions like they do in football? Play the seven teams that are closest geographically twice, and everyone else just once, but have them all count as conference games. Then let everyone into the state tourney, with the top two seeds getting byes into the quarterfinals. I don't know....that might be a stupid idea....just sort of thinking out loud. But you're right, Eastern AA won 7 of 8 yesterday, they dominated inter-division play during the regular season, and they finished 1-2-3 in both boys and girls at the state tourney last year.
