Butte's Dalton Daum is a terrific athlete. I recently saw where he was awarded the Montana High School track and field Gatorade award. He won both the 100 and 200. His 100 meter time was 10.86. Out of curiosity I took a look at other results in the region to see how Montana compared, keeping in mind that a 10th of a second difference is like a blink of an eye. These are the top divisions in each state

State/ Time/ Daum finish in that State

So. Dak 10.73 4
Colorado 10.94 1
No Dak 11.04 1
Nevada 10.44 19
Alaska 10.99 1
Arizona 10.42 12
Texas 10.27 114
Utah 10.54 9
Wash 10.36 10
Oregon 10.77 3
Calif 10.29 85
Idaho 10.68 5
Wyoming 10.66 3

Why use his State time and not his best time of 10.66 ? All your other times are "bests" and not necessarily State times.

Fine. I will. If your using best state meet times then i.e. Oregon is 10.70 by MSU signee Mitch Horning. Utah would be 10.76. See how some of your numbers change.
