Not sure if everyone remembers him, but Elvis Old Bull (Lodge Grass) was one of the best Montana high school basketball players to play the game. He died with two others in a car crash near Billings.

He was an absolute legend throughout Eastern Montana and all of Indian Country.
I'm 37.
I can't speak for my entire generation, but, at least for me....my Montana heroes were Elvis for basketball & Todd Foster for boxing.

I don't remember Elvis because I moved to SoCal in 88. But, Todd Foster was amazing.

Re: Elvis Old Bull Dies in Car Wreck
I used to play pick-up ball with him at Shroyer back in the early '90s. He'd get pissed if you didn't get him the ball, and defending him was a nightmare, because he'd just put up 30' shots and make them, even if you were in his face.
Seattle to Billings to Missoula to Bozeman to Portland to Billings
