I guess he's saving his money.

SWH 53, RW 47. Third straight title for N. Country and I believe they're something like 80 wins in last 81 games. They return a lot of good players next year. They lost a D1 (Erickson to MSU) and the current Frontier Freshman of the Year (Wasson to Rocky) and still won state this year.

I believe they lose the Labrie girl this year, but a lot does return. Amber Erickson obviously has a great system and it’s a very talented bunch of kids. Their one loss in the last 3 years was to Scobey in the District championship this year.

Scobey is really young and will be good the next few years.

The fact that we made the state championship game was amazing. My sister is the head coach, my brother is an assistant, and my 3 nieces were all starters (including an 8th grader). They had an amazing run after losing all their height last year. They got third at district and then went on a tear at divisionals and state.

I don't think there were any players from Roy on the team this year ... and we finally got our old mascot and school colors back!

That is some incredible family ties! Congrats!

Well, there weren’t any sports facility projects to donate to anyway.

I'm amazed by the facilities there. The school, gymnasium, and football field are all incredible. Way better than the aging high school facilities in Helena. Awesome that so many locals are generously reinvesting in that community. It's been on my list of places to visit for a while now. Hopefully this is the summer.

It helps to have a Norman Asbjornson who likes to build big buildings in Winifred. He's done a lot of great things for the town (and MSU).

If you make it up there, let me know what you think of the grocery store ... personal interest on that one. ;)

Grocery store is a great place to grab a quick sandwich for lunch.
