Jake Locker
Obviously, he hasnt been in the NFL for very long. But from what I've seen of him, he has been in BEAST MODE! I am very impressed seeing he didnt play QB til he was a senior in highschool... He reminds me a lot of Tim Tebow but the NFL is actually giving him a chance... I hope the best for him and as of now he is a total bad*ss... whats everyone elses two cents?

Re: Jake Locker
I went to the same high school as him (Ferndale), and my sister was in his graduating class. He was in fact a QB all years that he played there.
Super nice guy, and definitely a hard worker. I hope he does well.

Re: Jake Locker
He's like Tebow, except without the hype, plus some QB skills.ReturnoftheCats wrote:Obviously, he hasnt been in the NFL for very long. But from what I've seen of him, he has been in BEAST MODE! So yeah ... they are both big white guys who can run fairly fast for a guy their size.

In other words ... they are both big white guys who can run fairly well.

I do think Locker is going to be a good NFL quarterback. I'm glad the Titans picked up Hasselback this year to give Locker a year to learn before being thrown in the fire.

Now that you mention those two in the same sentence, I'm realizing that Rudy and Tebow have a lot in common ... beyond my scorn.

Saw pre-season highlights the other day on ESPN. The throw they showed was money. I think he'll do just fine.
The TD pass is at around 25 seconds.

I believe I heard that about one of the Montana brothers. Maybe it is Nick who is Locker's replacement at UW???ReturnoftheCats wrote:really??? Re: Jake Locker
From what I remember, both Jake and his brother Casey have always played the QB position, way back even in Pee-Wee football. I don't think it was always playing just the QB position as they are both natural athletes, so they were rotated around through the offensive and defensive positions.ReturnoftheCats wrote:really??? This must be what I'm thinking of.. Idk how accurate bleacher report is tho lol.
From the article:
"Jake Locker was actually a running back before being converted to a Wing-T quarterback in high school."
