MLB - New Era Overlap Hats

Does the person responsible for the design of the New Era Overlap hats get a) fired? or b) promoted for bringing an unprecedented amount of traffic to the New Era, MLB and other retailer websites trying to find a Rangers, Astros, or Angels cap?

I had to look this up. I’m betting they sell a ton of them just because they look horrible and will make people laugh and probably become collectors items.

Wow, some of those are hilarious! The comments in the article making light of the mistakes are priceless. Brings to mind the Gris mug. What were they thinking?
