I'd like to think Ariza is the next Michael Cooper but I'll leave that decision up to Mitch Kupchak.

Another consideration is that no doubt they could have kept Ariza for less money than they had to pay for Artest, which means there would have been more money left over to pay Odom. I didn't really agree with this move anyway, but what if it ultimately leads to losing Odom also?
