They're also talking about going to 17 or maybe even 18 game regular seasons with a shorter preseason. For or against???

Since the "stars" only play 1/2 the preseason anyway, I'm for it. If the NFL wants to charge full price for tickets and concessions they should give the fans their best on the field.

I like the 17 or 18 game schedule. One of the games could be an interconference regional rivalry matchup. Instead of having the Jets and Giants, Seattle and Denver, or Pittsburgh and Philadelphia (and so on) play once every four years, have a series every year where they play at least one game. I think that might draw even more interest to the NFL schedule and would create some great matchups.

Great idea on the regional rivalry game.

If they expand to 17/18 games, I would hope that they expand the roster some too. Maybe from 55 to 60 players....just a thought.
