I really don't care. But the fact that the best pic they have to include with the story is his mug shot is just funny! Yep, looks like an NFL star to me!!!

That may be the most bush league reporting I have ever seen. I am not a griz fan by any means but come on, how can that joke of a paper take the biggest moment in his life as an opportunity to remind everyone of his darkest moment. Just plan piss poor reporting. It's one thing to mention the acquittal in the article but to use that photo. Somebody find me a triple facepalm cause the grizette just earned that great honor.

I agree. Even though I despise everything griz, the Gazette really had a great opportunity to create a neat story about him, and in turn, really f*ed it up.

Wasn't he penalized and maybe even suspended for a game for that hit ?

He was penalized, yes. Suspended?? No.

And the bitch of it all is, it was clearly a clean and legal hit. The Griz recovered the fumble, and Poly scored a few plays later after the 15 yard walkoff.

It was a ridiculous call, but MAN he blew that dude up!

Thats right, it was a non conference game so the BSC didnt suspend him for "targeting" which as we all found out last year is not legal under the new interpretation of the rules.

Just saw this. That's a killer contract for a guy who barely avoided free agency (or prison)

The star of the defense though was undoubtedly seventh-round draft pick Jimmy Wilson out of Montana. Wilson got a chance to play and showed the coaching staff what he could do. Wilson was sent on corner blitzes a few times once sacking the quarterback and forcing a fumble. Wilson also had five tackles and defended a few passes as well.

Dude's a STUD. Sorry some of you aren't mature enough to handle that.

Your right--he's damn good. Doesn't mean we have to root for him. I root for Kroy, Lex, Colt, Mark, Tuff, Dan, etc. I won't root for Jimmy and I'm entitled to that opinion. Like I said, he is good, but I would stop waaay short of calling him a "STUD". I think it takes more than just football ability to be called that. Like I said, my opinion.

good? Yes. STUD? Hardly. THUG? Most definitely

I only have so much love for former Griz players, so as LTown Cat said, I'll choose to root for the rest of them. Jimmy, not so much.
