As an Angels fan it sucks, but as a non-Dodger hater and Dodger Stadium fan it's cool he's staying in LA which is a cheap Avelo flight away (the tickets, beer, and hotdog will cost more than the flight).

How often do these $100M+ long term contracts work out for the team? I understand it's largely just the cost of doing business with the top players but it seems like the Dodgers will have to win at least 3 championships for this not to be a failure.
