Jose Miranda 12 straight at-bats with a hit
Twins dh/infielder tied three other players for a very old MLB record. The last time anyone did this was 1952. After he got to 7 for 7, I followed it pretty closely. Fun times. What are the odds? If you're a .300 hitter and assuming you hit lefties and righties equally, my calculation is 0.00000053 by multiplying .3 by .3 11 times. Is that correct?
MSU - 16 team National Champions (most recent 2024); 57 individual National Champions (most recent 2023).
