Arenabowl XXXIII

Billings Outlaws win it in New Jersey
46-41 final.

Wild season

Don't let this distract you from the fact that the griz blew a 22-0 lead.

I didn't even know this was a thing until last week when I stumbled on the semi-final from the Metra on CBS Sports Network. Billings won that game on a walk off 37 yard field goal-which is pretty tough to make in arena ball. Caught some of the championship tonight which they won finishing the season at 9-1. Pretty cool. One of those leagues where you never know one week to the next if the team you're playing is going to fold or not. I guess that happened a few times this season.

Bobcat athletics is a business to the coaches, school leadership, and players. It's time the fans treat Bobcat athletics as a business too.

I was reading about this league yesterday, and wow. They started out the 2024 season with 16 teams and ended it with only 8! The commissioner was ousted partway through the season and replaced by Jeff Fisher as the interim commissioner. Cool to see that a team from Montana survived the carnage and was able to come out on top.

Seems appropriate that a league led by Jeff Fisher finished the season at 50%.

I was a little surprised there weren't any MSU or UM players on the roster.
