This reminds me - True story - this guy in Stevensville who is a huge Griz fan has a bunch of cool UM memorabillia in his pool room
And right near one of the barber chairs, I don't know how he got it - there pinned is the jersey of none other than Geoff Rochelle
Oh and cleedus glad to hear you will be sporting maroon.

Who's Geoff Rochelle? If that's quality smack like you seem to think it is then why don't you know the name of the person?Nick wrote:This reminds me - True story - this guy in Stevensville who is a huge Griz fan has a bunch of cool UM memorabillia in his pool room

And the only reason I'll start wearing dark pink is to rub it in for all those whose crowning achievement in life is being a Jizz fan. Umm... like you.

Sorry Geoff Grochelle. I can see that name still strikes a nerve.Cledus wrote:Who's Geoff Rochelle? Keep trying to find excuses on why you are wearing dark pink -- but just remember you're only further supporting my crowning achievement.

Geoff Grochelle was a temporary teacher for me in HS. That's all I really have to say.Nick wrote:Sorry Geoff Grochelle. I can see that name still strikes a nerve.Cledus wrote:Who's Geoff Rochelle? I used to see Geoff at the Sports Page (when it still existed) for all the 'Cat away games. He's a good guy and is as hardcore a 'Cat as any of us are. Anyone know who the DB was for the 'Cats who got torched to set up that game winning Griz fieldgoal? Maybe we can pile some blame on him since it was obvious that the griz were going to be hucking it deep to get in range.
Oh well, we all have to live with our mistakes I suppose.

That wasn't the DB's fault. That was the coaching staff's fault for allowing 1 on 1 coverage on the outside. I still see that play in slow motion as I stood in the student section pleading with people to stop chanting "Poor Grizzlies". No safety rotating over, and the ball perfectly placed. We should thank that cornerback for somehow tripping up the Griz WR.GavinDonos wrote:I used to see Geoff at the Sports Page (when it still existed) for all the 'Cat away games. Hysell should have been fired on the spot after that defenseive meltdown. I will never forget my anger after that finish.

This is the sense of entitlement I referenced in an earlier thread. It's comical.lifeloyalsigmsu wrote:Weren't you just bitching on another thread about the "lack of class"?GrizinWashington wrote:Well, at least you're consistent. Funny thing is, it was the D coaches son who was covering the guy who made the catch. The same coach that is now caoching the Butte high Bulldogs with his son.

I posted this first. And it was this thread (along with the other) that led to my comment about lack of class.
