Sorry. I was reading Schopenhauer long before Google. Or the interent for that matter. jizz/Wal-mart. See? It's a natural match. A lot like Forrest and Jenny. Pinching pennies = Wal-Mart. Not that tough.
The Bobcats command a premium. Accordingly, you only see Cats gear at places where people other than the scourge of society shop. Bobcats gear is not a commodity that is obtained for the lowest price.
Cats fans are light years ahead of the jizz in this regard. It's like Schopenhaur said (noted German philospher... given his stature as one of history's greatest philosophers it's understandable two standard deviations of jizz fans have never heard of him), Every truth passes through three phases before it is recognized. In the first it is ridiculed; in the second it is opposed; in the third it is regard as self evident.

I know it's "Schopenhauer." Just fat fingered it, that's all. If you're reduced to picking out spelling errors, I guess my smack is spot on.GrizinWashington wrote:Look, I normally don't razz people for spelling. However, I'm reading Tucker Max's I Hope They Serve Beer In Hell You need to lighten the hell up pal. Try that book; I recommend it if you're into sick humor or something that (for your benefit) would remove the stick from your azz.

I work as an attorney so that I can afford good scotch, which helps me to forget that I work as an attorney.

Good Lord, is this Cat/Griz or Harvard/Yale? You all need to lighten up if you've run so far down the list of smack that you are on to who knows more about philosophy.

Yeah, I can see how he'd be a legend among major law firms after reading that book.
I don't recall EVER laughing so hard when I read a book. This guy has done some of the craziest stuff I've ever heard about.

Yeah, I've been reading Tucker's website for a few years now. For those who aren't familiar, Tucker graduated from Duke law school in 2001 (the same year I graduated law school), and during the summer of 2000, he worked for Fenwick & West, a silicon valley firm. His exploits while working there are legends that every law student and attorney in my age range have heard (allegedly, they include getting ridiculously drunk at several firm functions, hooking up with one married female partner at the firm, and (immediately before his firing), telling the chairman of the firm to go f- himself).lifeloyalsigmsu wrote:Pick it up.

The Fenwick and West chapter was awesome. In that chapter, he speaks about an auction that the firm held up in the wine country north of SF. That was one of the best chapters in the book.Grizlaw wrote:Yeah, I've been reading Tucker's website for a few years now.
